Who we are

Live Out There Travel is a small, independent travel planning practice run by Dan Stephen. If you have a question about anything on this page, write to dan.stephen@fora.travel.

What we collect

Only what you choose to send us. When you use the contact form that means your name and email address, plus any destination, dates, party details or notes you add. If we go on to plan a trip together, you may also share details needed to make bookings, such as traveler names and preferences.

Our hosting and analytics infrastructure may record standard technical information such as your IP address and browser type, in the normal course of serving the site.

How we use it

To reply to you, to plan and book the travel you have asked for, and to keep records of the work we have done together. We do not sell your information, and we do not send marketing email you have not asked for.

Who else sees it

Two groups. First, the service providers that run this site and our email, who process information on our behalf. Second, and only when it is needed to arrange your trip, the hotels, tour operators and suppliers you are booking with. Nobody else, unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and trip records are kept while they are useful for supporting you and for as long as we need them for tax and business records. If you would like your information deleted sooner, ask and we will do it, except where we are required to keep a record.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email dan.stephen@fora.travel and we will respond as quickly as we reasonably can.

Changes

If this page changes in a meaningful way we will update the date at the top.
